The Edge Web Platform: August Update

The August release of The Edge web platform is rolling out to all brokers this week. Here is what's new.

Faster charts

The charting engine now renders large history ranges noticeably faster and keeps scrolling smooth even with multiple indicators applied. No configuration is needed; the update applies automatically.

Redesigned order panel

The order panel has been reorganized so the most common actions take fewer clicks:

• One-click switching between market and pending orders.
• Inline margin and pip-value calculation before you submit.
• Clearer validation messages on rejected orders.

Quality of life

We also fixed a number of smaller issues reported by broker support teams, including watchlist sorting and session-timeout behavior on mobile browsers.
